Social Club: Banyan Tree

Perspective of Landscape Area. Club concept is LOHAS. This is the place for people who concern about environment and healthy life. I chose natural materials, such as stones, slate tiles for finishes. The counter top (reception desk) is Paperstone which is made of 100% recycled cardboard. You can see the staircase through the water wall.

Perspective of Cafe. Recycled bottles are hung with different lengths of hooks from metal grid over the dinning area. Lights are suspended over the bottles randomly to create uneven brightness.

Restaurant Design: Ka Cho Fu Getsu 花鳥風月

Perspective 1. First of all, the restaurant name "Ka Cho Fu Getsu" is the idiom which is used for beautiful scenery in Japanese. "Ka" means flower, "cho" means bird, "fu" means wind and "ｇetsu" means moon. This is an Asian fusion restaurant. I was inspired by traditional Japanese colors which are dark woods, purple and navy for nobility.

Front bar is covered with opaque acrylic which is lit from back. I used mirror for the back shelf. The mirror creates illusion, double the people around the bar and bottles on the shelves.

View of Mezzanine. For mezzanine, I chose cream as a main color to create different atmosphere. Creme is used long period through the history. It can be classical and modern. The purpose of different color scheme is to make customers feel special as they walk up stairs.

Main Floor Dinning: 460.17sqft.
Mezzanine Dinning 699.64sqft.
Bar Area: 317.22sqft.

Design concept is combination of Zen style and circular.

Salon & Spa Design

Perspective of Styling Station. Mirror is 2'-6" diameter, 5'-2 1/2" from floor to the center. The base is brushed stainless steel finish. Main color is white. Acoustic panel in the back is made from polyurethane.

Office Design: Travel Agency

Perspective of Sales Counter. Traveling is dreaming. The flower shape bulkhead over the counter is the image of sunflower. Sunflower reminds us of the sunny days, summer, vacation. The curved wall on the left prevents to expose work station and offices behind, and also its shape welcomes customers.

Waiting Area is equipped with internet station for customers. (the counter facing to the corridor) They can browse travel guide with family or friends.

Filing Room is equipped with movable shelves to store and organize invoices, application forms etc..

Snow Board Design

When I imagined snowbording, speed and wind came across my mind. Swirls represent snow with wind against you as you slide down the mountain.
